Nick Wright
Senior Pastor
Nick Wright became Senior Pastor of Richland in 2018. He is married to his lovely wife Sarah and has a son named Colt. Nick graduated from Carson Newman University with a B.A. in Religion. He then went on to Luther Rice Seminary and graduated with his M.A. in Biblical Studies. Nick is passionate about teaching the Word of God in a practical and effective way. In his free time Nick enjoys spending time riding horses, working on his farm, and spending time with his family.

Brad bales
Executive Pastor
Brad Bales joined Richland as the Executive Pastor back in 2018. He is married to his beautiful wife Emily, and they have three sons Landon Judah, Lucas Ezra, and Layton Asher. Brad graduated from Johnson University in 2015 with a B.S. in Preaching/Ministry. He has served as a Student Pastor in the past but has taken on a role at Richland overseeing most of the ministries of the church. Brad is passionate about making disciples who make disciples. In his free time Brad enjoys playing sports with his boys, going to the beach with his family, and going to the movies with his wife for a date night.

Greg Bales
Worship Leader
Greg Bales came on staff at Richland in January of 2020 after serving as our interim for several months. Greg has been married to his wife Linda for 33 years and they have three children, Brad, Caleb, and Kendal. They also have 4 grandkids that they love spending time with. Greg has been in bi-vocational worship ministry for 30 years serving in several roles at several churches. He attended Belmont University in Nashville where he studied as a music major. In his free time Greg enjoys singing music in different groups and he also love to fish any chance he can get.

mason Batts
Student Ministry Director
Mason Batts has been serving at Richland since 2019 and was officially hired as our Student Ministry Director in November of 2020. Mason plays a major role at Richland teaching Sunday School, leading Wednesday nights, and ministering to students in an ongoing formula. He has a passion to teach the Word of God to students and help them understand the depth of knowing Christ and truly making Him known everywhere they go. Mason is currently a student at Carson Newman University where he is seeking a Bachelors of Arts in Biblical & Theological Studies and will graduate in 2024. Mason enjoys hanging with his friends, going to McKay's, and playing pickle ball in his free time.

KEYLON PLEMONS
Student Worship Leader
Keylon Plemons joined the staff at Richland in 2022. Keylon is originally from Athens, TN but since joining the team at Richland has become a huge asset to our worship ministry. He serves as the Student Worship Leader weekly and does a great job ministering to middle school and high school students. He can play any instrument you put in front of him and has a heart to lead people to Christ through song. Keylon is currently enrolled as a student as Carson Newman University as a Political Science major. He desires to serve Christ in bi-vocational ministry while also getting a law degree and becoming a lawyer. In his free time Keylon enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Emily, reading books, and playing music.
